2. Why aaviri kudumulu Kudumulu are kept in a New Home?
1. Symbol of Auspiciousness and Purity - Kudumulu are made with simple, pure ingredients—rice flour, jaggery, coconut, and ghee—which are all considered sattvic (pure and divine). Steaming them symbolizes a clean and non-violent way of cooking, suitable for rituals.
2. First Offering to the Divine (Naivedyam) - Kudumulu are often offered as Naivedyam to Lord Ganesha or the family deity during the housewarming puja.Their rounded, full shape represents completeness, abundance, and wholeness.
